Drip Irrigation Systems

Nav Bharat Agro agency is proud to state that in the last 40 years, we have installed drip irrigation system for 100s of acres. We have mainly used the on line and in line drip irrigation system. There is 70 per cent saving on water, fertilizer and labor under this system as compared to flood irrigation( In Ideal conditions).

The heart of this system lies in perfect design and proper hydraulic calculation which comes with our extensive years of experience, ensuring optimum utilization of the system.

This system can be most effectively used for horticulture, vegetable farms young forest plantations and in greenhouses. This system is recently very effectively used for irrigating lawns. Lawn irrigation by drip is achieved by laying the network of PCND drip lines under the lawn.

While designing the drip irrigation system for horticulture plantations fruiting of the plant is taken into consideration for determining the water requirement. Also for better results the water requirement of the plant is based on its fruiting rather than initial growth phase.

In a greenhouse the irrigation pattern changes from crop to crop. In floriculture plantation is done on raised beds of soil and media. The soil is well-drained soil so minimum discharging drippers are selected. They consist of inline drippers with spacing of 30 centimeters. We also provide water soluble fertilizers and micro nutrients through drip system from venturi or fertigation pump.

Along with drip irrigation system, we also use mini sprinklers, micro sprinklers and jets when the water requirement is more for a plantation. These also cover the root zone adequately. For example, plants such as mango, coconut, chikku need approximately 80 to 100 liters of water during fruiting which can be taken care of by installing mini sprinklers.
