Nanoli stud farm situated in village Nanoli, Taluka Maval, located 45 kms from Pune city is our happy customer with our installation of gun sprinkler system.
The client, Nanoli stud farm management approached us for consulting and installation of suitable irrigation system for them stud farm. We strongly recommended the portable aluminium pipeline with gun sprinklers for irrigating the paddocks on the stud farm. The system was initially installed for an area of approximately 100 acres. Later as the results of the system were extremely positive, the area covered under gun sprinkler irrigation system was increased to 300 acres. The source of water for the system is river Indrayani which flows near the stud farm. The main pipeline is in steel, 6 inches in diameter, is underground and was suggested after taking into consideration the requirement of water for the grass in paddock. This main pipeline then has multiple outlets at certain length connected to portable aluminium pipes leading to mounted gun sprinklers.
The pressure for gun sprinklers is generated through two water pumps off 40 HP each. The system currently operates on one water pump while the second pump is maintained as a standby. Six to Eight gun sprinklers when fully operational throw water up to 80 feet radius and are a thrilling and beautiful sight to an eye.
Stud farms, turf clubs, sports grounds are large in area and need to be frequently irrigated to keep them green.
